It was spring break week here in our home and I’m somewhat glad we didn’t have anything big planned this week. I get to catch up on a lot of things while at home….mostly relaxing. Tomorrow we are back to normal..off to work and the kids go back to school!
I look forward to this post and sharing some of my favorites. I find people, places and things I love and I just want to let the world know!
I have a traveler’s heart on a poor man’s budget! I am very grateful for all that I have, but I’m realistic, traveling the world just isn’t a possibility right now. Last week’s 7 Links to Love my YouTube Love was Casey Neistat. This week my excitement is huge because there are 2 youtubers I want to share!
–YOUTUBE LOVE- This first one is very recent. I just started following this family like 2 weeks ago and I just thought they were so much fun! Here is The Gee family. In 2015, they decided to sell all their belongings and travel the world. The Bucket List Family ***major goals***
-My second YOUTUBE LOVE is for the first travel vlogger I got hooked on, Louis Cole of FunForLouis. He travels the world enjoying life as much as possible, inspiring others and living the adventure. You just can’t watch his vlogs and be inspired to just pack your bags and see the world. He is probably one of the reasons why I’ve been bit by the travel bug so badly. Louis and his friend Dave Erasmus are currently traveling the world for their Solvey Project stopping at different cities around the world to help people, that have ideas that can make a difference in the world, and connecting them with mentors and resources that they might need to help get their plans and ideas started. It’s a global talent search unlike any other. I’m excited to follow along!
–blogger love- My blogger friend Karen of MamiDoesItAll shares some great tips every Wednesday on ways you can work from home- Work From Home Wednesdays: Featuring Amazon
– blogger love- Xenia’s post on hitting Las Vegas with your family is vacation envy..of the good kind! An Epic Vegas Vacation With Kids
-I saw the animated film adaptation of the “The Little Prince” (Le Petit Prince) by french poet and writer, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I never read the book, but had wanted to get it for my kids awhile back. I adored this movie so much, cried like a baby actually. A little girl lives in a very grown-up world with her mother, who tries to prepare her for it. Her neighbor, the Aviator, introduces the girl to an extraordinary world where anything is possible, the world of the Little Prince.-imdb
-Firefly Music Festival is almost 2 months away and a must for me, and self-made tradition, is ordering my ‘No Rest for the Rad’ Tee from Top Knot Goods. I need it! Can I tell you a little secret about this shirt?- I secretly get scared about wearing it because of the words. I don’t like to attract any attention to myself. Also, am I rad?! There are days when I’d say yes, but there are days when I’d probably answer, ‘egh’ –truth. So, I’ve come to the conclusion, that I’m just gonna wear the heck out of it!
have a great week!
